The iPhone SE 3 and the iPad Air is coming sooner than you’d expect 

You aren’t going to have to wait long for Apple’s next smartphone as the iPhone SE 3 is expected to be announced in the up-and-coming Apple event on the 8th of March.

The iPhone SE 3 and the iPad Air 5

It is surprising some that the iPhone SE 3 is coming so soon after its previous model. The iPhone SE 2 followed the first SE model is selling surprisingly well. According to Wccftech, the 2020 version of the iPhone SE was the second best-selling phone of 2020 as Apple shipped 24.2 million units; the iPhone 11 was the best-selling phone of 2020 selling 64.8 million devices.

Pricewise, the current SE is still £389, and it hasn’t changed two years after release and as these models are Apple’s cheapest phones, you should be looking at around £400 for the new iPhone SSE 3. We guess the release date of the device will be from the end of March to the start of April 2022. The iPhone SE 3 should be equipped with 5G, face ID and a better battery and more storage of their previous SE models.

If this wasn’t enough, there’s also a new iPad coming! The next iPad Air is coming sooner than people have expected as the iPad Air 4 is only just over a year old. The best way to look at potential prices is to look at what the prices were for the iPad Air 4 release. If they stick to similar pricing the brand-new iPad Air 5 should come in under £600.

The iPad Air 5 will join the iPhone 13 in having the A15 Bionic chip. This state-of-the-art chip has two high-performance cores called Avalanche, and four energy-efficient cores called Blizzard. The chip has made iPhones 50% faster and 40% faster in iPads. For it to be included in the iPad Air 5 will be very exciting. Alongside all of this, the iPad Air 5 is supposed to have 5G as well as a faster processor than previous iPad Airs. This generation of iPad Airs looks to be the perfect response to the Samsung Galaxy S8 Tab series that comes out at the end of February.

Is there anything else…

The man in the know Gurman, also believes there will be more than the iPhone SE 3 and the iPad Air 5. He believes that there is going to be another new MacBook announced on the 8th of March alongside the other Apple devices. As the MacBook Pros are the oldest devices, it looks like they will receive the update. Alongside a new MacBook, there is also going to be a new M2 chip. The M2 chips like the M1 Chip will increase speed, performance and graphics for the 2022 MacBook Pro. Like the M1 Chip, when Apple release the 14- and the 16-inch version of the 2022 MacBook Pro, each MacBook will have a larger chip. M2 Pro for the 14-inch and M2 Max for the 16-inch chip.
